Blackberry Playbook

RIM has announced their first tablet computer, Blackberry Playbook. BlackBerry Naming Playbook beyond belief among many who expected a tablet PC or RIM will be named Blackpad Surfbook or surfboard. Even the facts say another, Playbook is the name chosen and announced by RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis yesterday at their annual developer event in San Francisco Blackberry 2010.

As most tablet computers, slim and thin as the company's board - it is called also slate - with a weight of 400 grams and is size 7 inc like the ideal screen size Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Naming Play this tablet is a bit interesting, because the word is sometimes Play a negative impression; Playgirl and Playboy. Surfbook actually the most appropriate name, because it uses a tablet like reading a book (books) that are characteristic of a computer tablet and Surf's words indicate that with the owner of this tablet will surf the vast sea of Internet communication as well. In addition, RIM to target business as a buyer, so the naming Play does not seem appropriate.

But of course the naming of Play on the tablet PC is not without reason. Info as far as I can, because the tablet is "full support" to all Flash-based content. Similarly, all flash games. IPad satirize all that does not support Flash, except by downloading jalbreak first, and even then the results are not optimal.

Besides getting a warm welcome, Playbook also has a ripple of disappointment. Because not (yet) support the Blackberry application. This is understandable, because the OS is in use than the Blackberry OS, but OS QNX and later changed its name to the Tablet OS on Blackberry. So it takes time to make all applications to be compatible with the tablet this BB.

Therefore Blackberry Playbook 7-Inch Tablet (64GB) will be officially released to the public early in 2011, to allow time for all application developers BB to sync. At the same time giving RIM the opportunity to study the tablet market and began to explore the possibility of competition with Samsung with his Galaxy Tab, IPAD second generation Android and tablet computers in those days.

Here is a comparison between the image of three technical specifications Tablet PC is to predict will dominate the Tablet PC in 2011; Playbook, IPAD and Samsung Galaxy tab:

And how do you think Playbook BlackBerry will be able to conquer its rivals?
